Beekeeping Syrup Making

 

 what:    Parents can take their families to pick your own for various crops in Hollis: apples, pumpkins, blueberries, strawberries.  Ag-Ed differs as it is a presentation-demonstration for school age children (arranged through the schools) of agricultural processes and products of NH held and Demonstrations vary but may include: tree identification; wool shearing, dying, and spinning; bee keeping and its importance for pollen; small animals; maple syrup tapping and processing; crops- processing, shipping, including tours of the strawberry fields and apple orchard; ecology and the water cycle.
